IDC is looking for a Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer.

Our studio is directly by the station in Datchet which is 50 minutes from London Waterloo by train. We also have parking available. The role is mainly studio-based but with some flexibility to work from home. We also provide flexible hours.
What you would be doing
- Circuit design and PSC layout in Altium
- Writing of embedded code in C, C++, C# or Python
- Testing and commissioning of prototypes
- Technical leadership of electronics and software project delivery
- Client liaison to ensure the smooth running of projects and promoting IDC as a trusted client partner
- Supporting new business colleagues in developing new project opportunities
- Conducting software and electronic hardware risk analysis
- Verification test and report
What we need from you
- An excellent degree or PhD in electrical, electronic or information engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a broad range of electronic design (including hardware and software) with considerable practical design and development experience.
- Experience in circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, Pspice
- Expert at bring-up, debug, validation and optimization of systems
- Design or EMC
- Experience in software development life cycle documentation
- Knowledge of different processor technologies such as: ARM, SOC
- Self-motivated and able to tackle new problems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in medical devices would be an advantage although not essential.
